My name is Laura and I have been painting and drawing all my life. I was born in Lima, Peru but for most of my life I have been living in the US. As a child I was always drawing and sketching. My curiosity led me to paint with different mediums; acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels chalks,and to jewelery making and printmaking. My interests led me into a new direction towards what I do for a living now, working as a cg lighting artist. I love my work and I love meeting new people.

The Little Mermaid was my favorite Disney movie when I was a little kid, and one of my favorite villains is Ursula. My digital painting is based on the performer Divine which was the inspiration for Ursula in the movie. So here is my take on Ursula but more of Divine's facial features.
