Drawing Portrait Part 02

Once I was satisfied with the dry look of the colored pencils I started to add water, but very little at a time. After the paper dried I went over it again with the dry watercolor pencils to build up more color or to change it. The last photo is the finished work with it's frame.

My Rio Birthday Card

I love making cards for different occasions, and for my mother-in-law's birthday I decided to make a card based on Rio the movie from BlueSky. Also, my husband (her son) worked on the movie so I thought it would be appropriate and a fun thing for her to have. :)
