My name is Laura and I have been painting and drawing all my life. I was born in Lima, Peru but for most of my life I have been living in the US. As a child I was always drawing and sketching. My curiosity led me to paint with different mediums; acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels chalks,and to jewelery making and printmaking. My interests led me into a new direction towards what I do for a living now, working as a cg lighting artist. I love my work and I love meeting new people.

tromp l'oeil painting

A small acrylic painting of envelopes, stamps, and a postcard that I set up. The goal of this painting was to do it in a tromp l'oeil style; which means deception of the eye.
